The London Horror Festival, the UK’s festival of horror in the performing arts, have once again teamed up with award-winning audio drama producers The Wireless Theatre Company to produce the Stage Fright horror radio competition.

So here it is folks – our long awaited Stage Fright long list!

After many hours of deliberating our panel have finally reached a decision. We were overwhelmed by the number of entries this year and the competition was fierce. We would like to thank everyone who submitted their work and extend our congratulations to the following who made it into the top ten:

Pete Barrett – Forever Amber

Kirsty Marshall – The Husband

Neil Walden – Beyond Earthly Love

J Weintraub & Nicola Lombardi –  The Tears of San Lorenzo

Gabrielle Wright – Tears from the Pillow

Tim Poultney – It’s A Boy

Jane Fookes – What I Did Last Night

Ben Lewis – The Traveller

Elizabeth Adlington – Special Delivery

Jack Stanley – Job Hunt

All these scripts were outstanding and it was a very tough call, but special congratulations to our three shortlisted entries Pete Barrett- Forever Amber, Elizabeth Adlington – Special Delivery and Gabrielle Wright – Tears from the Pillow, whose plays will be performed and recorded live by the Wireless Theatre Company at the launch night of the London Horror Festival 2014 on October 12th at the Lost Theatre, Vauxhall where they will be judged by horror writer Seth Patrick for a chance to win the ‘Andre De Lorde Award for Horror Writing’.

Tickets for the event are available here

A huge thank you and well done to all our entrants and we look forward to hopefully seeing lots of you at the launch!
