With a Strong use of sound and imagery it will be an experience, even if you’re not sure what's going on. This piece of theatre is written by a first time writer, who is also directing, staring in and also writing the theme tune.

Ladybird shows us three women who are institutionalised to protect society and themselves. Elisabeth struggles to separate past from future; whilst the other patients contemplate life in an asylum. This psychological horror weaves the historical development of treatments with changes in awareness and understanding. Frying Pan Alley’s work is inspired by Lisa Appignanesi’s “Mad, Bad and Sad” and Shakespeare's text.

When they first worked together in The Curse of Frankenstein and Dracula, Peter Cushing was one of Britain’s most famous actors, while Christopher Lee was unknown. For the next 25 years, they killed each other again and again and became firm friends. As Lee became internationally famous, Cushing gradually retired into quiet obscurity. Yet neither quite lost their taste for blood….

Two weeks till LHF 2014

It’s nearly here. The festival is once more ready to descend on London!

With an outstanding line up of 19 separate shows running at the festival – our most ever – with work stretching from spine-tingling one-person shows to the razor’s edge of contemporary sketch comedy, 2014 is looking set to be an outstanding year for the London Horror Festival.
